Booksin is consistently a high performing school committed to excellence, continuous improvement and community involvement.
Our teachers are dedicated to providing a challenging and balanced standards-based curriculum. Building the future’s thriving citizens is supported through character education delivered through LifeSkills, Cornerstone Projects and service learning opportunities. The technology lab, Library Media Center, Lifelab garden, and arts program enrich the core curriculum. We believe in teaching children that they have the responsibility to actively make a difference. Parents are also actively involved in the educational process of the students by supporting the school with their time, talent, and resources. Whether they help out in the classroom, on BESCA or School Site Council, parents are welcome to volunteer to support education. The Mileage Club is the newest piece of our Cornerstone program. Our Lifelab garden has been completely renovated with a generous donation from the Michael Lee Environmental Foundation. This is the culmination of several years of hard work by a dedicated group of parents who are passionate about gardening and kids!
Our annual Walkathon celebrates community talent, resources and ingenuity. This brings our community together and provides funding for essential programs. The level of family involvement is a tribute to the passion we share for community, for children, and for education. Believe - Achieve - Succeed!
