The Centinela Valley Center for the Arts is a 1,200 seat, state-of-the-art venue highlighted by a hydraulic orchestra pit, professional quality sound and lighting control booths, and a stage rigging system that would be the envy of any local theater programs. A series of catwalks provides access to lighting stations throughout the building. Adjacent to the stage are a fully functioning scene shop, a costume design studio, and dressing rooms. The theater also boasts a movie theater quality projector and screen for viewing films.
The remainder of the building houses classroom spaces for the Academy of Media Arts. The first floor video recording and editing suite is composed of an editing lab, voice recording isolation room and a video recording studio. On the second floor, a large band room with five connected sound isolated practice rooms and an adjacent choir room provide space for both large and small group practices.
