In 1963, East Junior High School opened its doors with Raymond A. "Pat" Brown as the principal. When Principal Brown retired in 1975, the school was renamed in his honor. The school was expanded in 1980 and again in 2007. It became a middle school in 1997 and now serves 7th and 8th graders. Butternut Creek, Tobias, Imlay, Indian Hills, Ladd Acres, and Reedville elementary schools all feed into Brown and our students go to Century High Schools. We are the home of the Panthers and our colors are black and gold.
