SMG-ESA (Environmental Science Academy) goal is to ignite students’ desire for discovery through Project Based Learning encompassing mathematics, social, scientific, linguistic and scholastic disciplines in order to become responsible and informed global citizens.
The District’s Dual Language Immersion program is offered at San Martin/Gwinn and is serving grades K-5 in the 2016-17 school year adding a class each year. Families who enroll their children in this program make a multiyear commitment to the program to ensure that students attain high levels of academic proficiency and literacy in two languages by the time they are promoted to middle school.
