Located near the historic Forest Hill section, just one half mile from Sacred Heart Cathedral, Technology High School is Newark’s Magnet High School for Applied Science, Engineering and Technology. Established in 1996, the campus consists of two connected buildings, the former home of Newark State Teacher’s College and the former home of the Center for Occupational and Educational Development (COED). Technology High School is committed to providing a full four-year college preparatory academic program, a workplace readiness experience, and a School -to-Career program for students who will pursue their formal education and career concurrently.
