University Elementary at La Fiesta, a partnership between Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District and Sonoma State University, was founded in 2013 by a group of Sonoma State University professors, Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District teachers and administrators, and local parents who are passionate about hands-on experiential learning promoted through project-based education.

Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District is the third largest in Sonoma County with about 6,000 students in grades K-12. University Elementary School at La Fiesta was opened in August 2013 in partnership with Sonoma State University. It’s focus is on experiential and project-based learning. Our focus is learning.
