We are a unique learning community focused on engaging students in intellectually challenging academics, athletics, the arts, and service opportunities. We empower our students to discover and develop new talents and skills in courses such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1-2, Geometry, Algebra 3-4/Trigonometry, Solar Energy, three levels of Spanish and French, Choir/Concert Choir, Band, Drums, Speech and Debate, Art, and year-long courses in science at each grade level. Athletically, we are part of three athletic leagues, and participate in soccer, softball, wrestling, volleyball, basketball, track, cross-country, and flag football. Last year our 8th grade basketball team won the league championship. Also, we have a wide array of clubs: Campus Life, CJSF, cheerleading, Applause Concert Choir, drama, Friends of Rachel, Garden Club, Leadership, Math Club, STRUT, ASB (student council), robotics, and yearbook/journalism.
Students may attend After-School All-Stars for homework help, sports, and enrichment.
Students travel to France, Spain, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Boston to experience history and culture.
