At the John F. Kennedy School, we the administration and staff, are deeply committed to meeting the diverse needs of our learners. Our student population consists of unique learners with various talents and gifts. As educators, we feel it is our responsibility to identify these talents, and to work towards enhancing them. Therefore, we have worked closely with parents, community members, and have partnered with local employers to create a thriving onsite transitional program. Throughout the year we will continue to provide the students with access to job training, job coaching, as well as employment opportunities following graduation. Our expanding ambition is that the students will be able to safely manage themselves in the home, school, and workplace. Our goal is to equip students with the readiness skills that will enable them to smoothly transition from school to the work force. It is our ultimate goal to have the learners become productive citizens in the community.
